Located in the core of the city, Citytv Calgary delivers a local perspective of one of Canada’s fastest growing communities and is the best reflection of a city that is excited to expand. In January 2010, in order to reduce costs, it eliminated all its local news programs with the exception of Breakfast Television which runs from 5:30 to 9am weekdays. While they do not have a noon, evening or late night local news show, they have launched a Street Crew to publicize and attend local events.
