There are 13 daily newspapers in Alberta. The two largest dailies are the Calgary Herald and the Edmonton Journal, both owned by Postmedia Network (formerly Canwest). Sun Media (Quebecor) publishes four dailies: Calgary Sun, Edmonton Sun, Fort McMurray Today, and the Grande Prairie Herald Tribune. Lethbridge Herald and Medicine Hat New are published by the Alberta Newspaper Group and Black Press publishes the Red Deer Advocate. The two national dailies, the Globe & Mail and the National Post, are published by CTVglobemedia and Postmedia Network respectively.
